About the Schola:

The Ignatian Schola is a Manhattan-based vocal ensemble composed of Jesuits and lay colleagues. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, the schola performs an eclectic repertoire of sacred music that includes chant, Renaissance motets, and music by contemporary composers. The schola has performed in various settings, including the Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. John the Baptist Church, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and the Regis High School chapel (Manhattan); St. Anthony’s Church (Yonkers); Fordham University (Bronx); the Church of the Assumption (Brooklyn); Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Jersey City, NJ); Fairfield University (Fairfield, CT); and Madonna della Strada Chapel, LeMoyne College (Syracuse, NY).
